We were having a small rainstorm, so i thought i'd go out and record the rain. As you can see, (or hear!), i got much more than that! this is the complete original audio, all unedited. It sounds as if the lightning struck at least three times! enjoy! (i know i do!).

Recoding from my sony camcorder while holidaying in italy. The 7am and 7pm bells from the campanile (bell tower) in the medieval hilltop village of sorana, tuscany. Note at beginning the muffled sound of bells from nearby village and the odd ever present birds. I left these sounds in as they give a sense of place to the bells.

I drag my wooden chair across my wooden kitchen floor.

Inspired by amliebsch's "voice from hell" sound, i decided to take a crack at making something similar. This was made with my own voice. If you want to know what it's saying, it's:. To invoke the hive-mind representing chaos. Invoking the feeling of chaos. With out order. The nezperdian hive-mind of chaos. Zalgo. He who waits behind the wall. Zalgo!. Just slowed and pitched down immensely and then with some added reverb to give it the creepy effects that i wanted to. I think it would make a really great ambiance to a creepy horror scene in some creepy abandoned. . . . Wherever you would expect to hear these kinds of sounds. Happy accident: recorded a finger snap on a asus t100's internal laptop as a test sound, applied (heavy leveller, normalization)*10 and this came out. Sounds like a fine punch/damage sound on speakers, maybe for a 8-bit game.
