This is a recording of a train going through two stations in a city (bristol)on the seven beach line. It is a diesel train. It is not a high speed train.

The recording was made by the tracks not not at the train station. I recorded this on a trail near the firth of forth. Waiting for the train :) i think i can hear the sound of the tracks and the passing train with interest. Enjoy.

A passenger train passes from left to right at a high speed. The sound of water lapping against a nearby river shore can be heard slightly.

Was out for a walk next to a bridge while a train went by, the rattle of the empty cargo containers contrasted rhythmically with the ones that were full.
