A fly buzzing around my head while i was trying to enjoy the views of long lake in the uintas. Recorded on: tascam dr-05xdate: july 16, 2022location: long lake, uintas, utah, usa.

Zoom h1n recording from this morning's rainstorm in metro detroit. The original recording was from 5:02am to 7:26am, but due to a lot of secondary rain drops splashes hitting the recorder directly when the wind would shift i edited it down to 52 minutes after taking most of the knocks outs when i edited in movavi. Pretty steady rain for most of the track as you hear the hum from the morning commuters in their cars increase in the distant background. You'll hear some birds too throughout the track, mostly starlings i believe.

This is a 36 inch/. 9 meter jacobs ladder made from a neon sign transformer, recorded from the side so the sound of the arc pans right to left. Easily editable to loop. 60hz feed here.

A crowd of tourists disembark from the belle of cincinnati after a tour along the ohio river. Crowd moves from right to left in the stereo image. There may be some mention of stepping in duck poop by one of the tourists, but i will leave that up to you to confirm. Taken at about 4pm on a saturday at a popular mexican restaurant on palm canyon drive in palm springs, ca. I used a tascam dr-07mk2 recorder.

A classic movie punch sound recreated by hitting a leather car seat with a cricket bat. Recorded using a rode k2 tube mic and a schoeps cmc6, driving the preamps hard and compressing the input, then heavily compressing a number of takes using analog-emulation plugins (including a fairchild 660) and running the mix through waves maxxbass. Then limiting some more and finally adding the swoosh of a riding crop and a non-linear reverb noise tail.

Stereo recording of a group of street musicians playing circus style music in paradise circus, birmingham uk. Recorded on a zoom h2 digital recorder in wav format walking past the musicians. Trumpet does some phase effects as the reflected sound from a large building mixes with the direct sound. Recorder was in bag so sounds of movement, and plenty of street noise. Short extract so as not to deprive performers of any rights - this is a field recording of a street soundscape.

This was recorded next to the shore of the tennessee river near savannah in west tennessee with a samsung galaxy phone. The video was poor quality however i used blender to separate the audio from the video. This was altered slightly with audacity to reduce the constant noise of a distant motor boat.
