Dramatic atmosphere.

I'm creating a progressive loop that starts out with plenty of space between the sounds, but get progressively shorter to the point of overlapping. This is the base sound. I may work on creating a more cohesive pitch, but the dramatic pitch could possibly work for you. Key: c #minoralt key: 12abpm: 107 (does it matter?)environment: audacity for stupid simplicity. Note e. Atmospheric cinematic pad. I recorded the guitar, then processed a lot of reverb and added some synth sounds. You can put it in the sampler by setting the root note to e and you will have a complete instrument. I especially like to layer on it additionally the sounds of the waves that i put on my page before.

Rumble on the air conditioning conduction. Recorded with a sennheiser mkh40. Mono track. Lowpass filtered. No speed change. No pitch shift change.

Short (but non-obvious) loop of ambient ventilation fan drone in a small concrete room. Sounds good slowed down by 50% for a bigger fan in a bigger room. Recorded with microphones tucked behind ears for fairly good binaural effect.

Free drone. Recorded using homemade contact microphones. The os-xx samples consist of different recordings of fans, fridges, espressomachines, etc. The sounds are pretty raw, i added reverb, and cut some sub. I can, on request hand out the raw recordings. Enjoy.

A lush and airy pad. Started as a recording of a note on alto saxophone. It contains several resampled/paulstretched layers.

Single note "e" made with absynth and es1 (logic), mixing with various reverb effects and frequency modulation.

This sound was entirely created in ableton live using operator synth and a bunch of native effects.

Really messed up audio of me talking you cant even tell so it sounds like an alien and i added a droning to give it a good feel.

Imagine you just landing on an unfamiliar planet, where the local on the planet is just some unpopulated area with a open wide field or jungle. You don't see any one, or anything, but either dust,trees, grass, or a vacant road. While your wondering through this place you also notice that that nightfall is approaching, and you can see the moon and the starts of this planet. This synth patch is just the sound for that, a drone bass synth patch used to create some imaginary audience feel that would lead you or someone to be driven to madness. This patch was made in massive.

I created this sound using the ipod app droneo(i do all my recordings with an ipod touch $th generation). It was then processed using the ipod app sample wiz and recorded using the ipod app twisted wave,linked up using the ipod app audiobus. I hope you all enjoy and/or are able to use this.

A pluck on a jew's harp. Recorded late at night in my bedroom on a samsung mp3 player. I enhanced it to the best of my abilities in audacity since the original recording had a low bitrate (64kbps mp3), the volume was low and it had a lot of static noise. Unfortunately the recording have a lot less warmth to it than the instrument has in reality. I am not sure of the tone of the harp but i believe it is a c, if it is not please let me know. 1 of 15.

Uh-1 helicopter does one flyby then approaches and flies directly overhead. It kicks up some sand as it goes over and then lands on a ship, about 100 meters away.
