I made this with a metal waste bin and various item being thrown in - paintbrush scissors etc to represent garden tools.

Described sounds in order:1. Inserting dvd2. Removing dvd3. Closing dvd player4. Dvd player starting reading dvd5. Dvd player reading dvd6. Dvd player stopping reading dvd7. Opening dvd player. Sounds are separated with a bit of silence so it's easier to edit them back together to your preference.

I have an old radioreceiver with a band for airtraffic. This recording has been made opposite of tegel airport berlin. On a sunny late afternoon in september 2014. Apple imac is a silent computer. I don't hear almost any noise from it, but i tried giving a microphone-sweep over the screen, which surprised me. You can hear various kinds of noise in a close audition. A dynamic mic.

Basically some robotic noises.

This is the sound of a minidv camcorder i bought off ebay, eating a tape of historic one-of-a-kind footage. I'll now have to get the tape repaired and attempt to rescue the footage some other way. Such is life. The raw footage it destroyed belonged to my mid-2000's feature film, the long island project. Cross your fingers i can rescue it!.

I tried ripping sound from a game and it came out as some code, but, i played around in audacity and came out with this. Enjoy =).

Cheap japanese saw cutting small pieces of wood, plank and joist. Sometimes metal squeaks and resonance. Mono recorded with hh5n. More in the pack.

My lights are actually connected into the wall with a switch that i can turn on/off with a seperate controller, and this switch makes this very peculiar sound when it switches on and off. I felt like it was a cool sound actually and would be great for other people to use as well in their projects!. Feel free to use whenever/however you want. Recorded on june 29, 2012 near the exit at webster's department store. This features how the checkout area at websters sounded from june 2012 untill its closing on november 3, 2015. This is part of a pack of 4k sounds recorded over 17 years commemorating my friend's department store which she owned. It showcases how the sounds in the store have changed over the years as the technology of teh store changes. Each recording is done within a week after the cash registers are upgraded. As of the date of this posting, webster's is now closed, and will re-open as a walmart in january of 2016.
