Several sounds combined to approximate the sound of someone getting smacked with the butt of a pistol. Whip crack with a metallic clank and a wet crack as it hits bone/flesh. Simulated by layering a whip crack, a punch, a metal clatter, and a squish made from stirring pasta in.

This is a drag-and-drop-ready whoosh-y block with skin sounds. Like someone karate chopping someone and getting blocked with a hand.

Made in ableton live this time, it is a multilayered loop consisting of recordings of an ak47, a 30 caliber 1918, and an m60 machine gun to make a rediculous powerful sound. A very short clicky kick drum with the high end reduced is added before the initial gunshot to make it punch more, otherwise it would sound weaker. There are two mechanical bolt sounds, one covering the upper mid range, and the other covering the extreme highs. Shell ejections and two reverb tails were mixed in at the end with some simple automated panning to make it move around the stereo field. The tempo slowly decreases to simulate barrel heating. Lots of processing. The layers were eq'ed, then ran into a software amp that is gently distorting the low and mid range. Then smashed together with ott multiband upward/downward compression to bring out the details. A maximizer was used to bring up the loudness some. Enjoy.

Real recording of an ar15 layered minimally with a kick drum for sub-bass region and trigger sound and processed with some plugins like transient designers, multiband compression and clipping. Eq was used for tonal shaping and frequency cutting here and there for a more polished sound. Single shot recording assembled into a burst fire loop. Made in ableton live. Enjoy.

I left the zoom h4n field recorder stationary as i mowed the back yard. Tonality and pitch changes based on terrain, velocity and movement.

Cut up a recording of an old grandfather clock, removed the noisy whirring in between ticks, and added long dreamy reverb that grows a bit towards the end. .

This is a sound effect of me pumping one of those hand pumps used to hold water or cleaner for spraying. My pumping causes pressure that makes the water bubble (which you can hear in the sound). A recording i made when my wife was updating her cash balance printed recordings at a national bank. This is the only one that still uses printed stuff in a world of apps and e-banking. The sound contains useful mechanical noises and a vintage printer.

Layered out of an sks, ak47, uzi and a snare drum with a metallic texture. A short decayed 808 kick drum is occupying the sub frequencies. A bolt mechanic layer added before and after the shot transient. Two echo/reverbs were added for the stereo width. Shell eject layer added. A passing grocery cart corralling machine used in parking lots to assist with returning buggies to the store. The presumably electric motor and slight jiggle of the metal carts can be heard. Sound is loopable.
