I have a lot of old hard drives, some of which are still working and others are damaged. My project is collect the sounds produced during start-up. To do this i use a digital recorder zoom h4n using the two incorporated microphones and two 'diy'ed contact microphones additionally. This here is the sound of a western digital caviar 32500 working fine.

Perception of the sound that generates a shopping cart when it is moved across the floor. This sound has been recorded using the zoom h2 handy recorder at glories shopping center from barcelona.

Needed a fast click sound for my ui buttons. Vitriolix chack_can_opener had a great piece.

A wooden bedside lamp with a plastic switch was used to produce the sound. Various ways of putting on the lamp and then switching it off were performed to widen the sound's range. A zoom h6 recorder was used, with the xy capsule, in a room to record the sound.

I wanted to get something on my account to share while i'm still in the process of purchasing good equipment to share my own ambient sounds.
