Shaking the dust out of a tshirt multiple times. Could also be used for a video game character landing on the ground, or for wings or flying as a flapping sound effect. Recorded on iphone. Buttons being clicked together and then shoveled into an old cookie tin and shaken around to sound like lots of poker chips.

Recorded with lifecam hd3000 you can hear kids playing outside my window, the neighbors' stereo in the apartment next door, their air conditioner, their vacuum cleaner after they shut down the stereo, they're tromping around and hitting the walls, a few distant birds, and one toot of a train about to come into town. It's forbidden for them to blow the horn inside city limits.

Recorded with a sennheiser mkh 416 into a tascam dr-100 mkii.

Clean, dry recording of a roughly half-filled metal can (the ribbed kind used for most canned food - probably steel, tin, or a blend of the two) containing dry oatmeal being shaken. A variety of forces and speeds were used to create a diverse assortment of sounds. Originally recorded specifically for canned oatmeal sounds, but could easily work for shaken cans containing most kinds of tiny, dry granules such as rice, nuts, grains, etc. A metal can was used for the unique, metallic timbre it produces - a glass jar or plastic container would sound different. Recorded with a behringer xm8500 directly into a steinberg ur22c interface at 48khz, 32-bit float. True 32-bit, not just 24-bit upconverted.

Glassware rattling and shaking on table. Could be used for earthquake, construction outside of the house or things along that line. Recorded with a zoom h5 internal xy mics.

Short sound effects made with minikorg 700s + kenton midi to cv converter.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.
