I took some isolated sounds (hi. Hat, kick and snare) and joined them into a drum rythm very basic.

My dw 13" collectors snare recorded with a shure pg56 on the top and a shure sm57 on the bottom with the phase reversed on the bottom mic. Both mics run through my mackie onyx 1620 mic preamps. The track is uncompressed.

This is a high-quality stereo recording of the ambient noises on a balcony in beatenberg, switzerland. This recording was made in the morning. There are birds and insects, and wind. You can also hear the very faint and distant sound of the traffic from the street in the valley.

Quiet, consistent city ambience: traffic at street crossing, some distant people, a dog. Motor rumble of starting/stopping vehicles, some voices, barking. Recorded with an ortf/ck91-array into tascam dr100mk2 (gain h6, 80hz-hp), no processing. Recorded on a may evening from a 5th floor balcony (17m above street level) in berlin moabit.

High speed train arrives at kings cross station in london (but could be anywhere), passengers wait to get off, door beeps and we exit the train into the station concours. As we leave the train, an automatic announcement comes over the tanoy warning about social distancing due to coronavirus.
