I made changes in the impulse response of the fisher k-10, i used a demo of the fisher spacexpander on youtube that had a warmer sound, i did eq match using small sections of the video where the audio is dry or wet, i did this sin several times and the result was fantastically similar. Got a can of sriracha peas for my birthday. Accidentally plucked the pull-tab. Sounded good. Made everyone pause what was on tv so i could pluck it a bunch. Ate about 3-4 peas. I don't like sriracha. Much less on dry peas. My stomach got upset. Those few peas colored my burps for about an hour. The can lid was the real present all along. Incidentally captured: chair squeaks (funnily in time with the plucking), "hurry up", "(he's) documenting the sound", chuckling, "is that good enough?".

The giant 1000 liter wine tank at red maple vineyard in the hudson valley - west park, ny. This sounds amazing for "old vocals"a very springy plate tank reverb. Complex and colorful. I made this recording with my marantz pmd661 using two samson co-2 microphones. , pointed 180 degrees apart to gather as much sound as i could. The sound was sometimes a cacophony as it seemed all of the neighborhood birds were so happy that spring is finally here, many times they were all singing at once. !.
