This is a classic hip-hop sound made by playing a snare forwards then backwards, with a hi-hat from the same sample played the same way for added effect. Drum sounds are from an old-school soul sounding drum break i found on soulseek. I created this in ableton.
Stopped in a tiny museum in kansas and the curator turned on the 1900s edison photograph for me and let me record the classic humming, scratchy sound of a turntable turning. The steady rhythm had a very "bioshock infinite" feel to me, and i loved it. Nice to put under music to make it sound old. Recorded on my cellphone and cleaned up in audacity. Production-now. I created these perfect loops using my yamaha psr463 synthesizer, my zoomr8 portable studio, and audacity. All the music on these tracks was written by me. All instruments were played by me as well. All you have to to is loop them and you'll have a great base rhythm for your projects or to just jam with. That's why i create these types of loops; they help me create full finished compositions. Recorded myself typing on our old desktop computer's now garbage keyboard likely over a decade ago with my old nokia e66 smartphone. I then edited this recording yesterday to find out how much i would be able to improve the already decent quality. With my new mic i decided to type away all my sorrows and problems, and this was the result (that was a joke, if you couldn't tell lol. ) but yeah, turned out to be quite aggressive so use if you want to portray some internet trolls or whatever floats your boat. The mechanical noise and signature "chord" associated with the "mac mini (2010 model)" upon startup/boot. Brief mechanical motor and clicking noises followed by the famed sustained f sharp major chord (detuned 30 cents flat) being projected over low quality, built-in speakers. Mechanical noise has defined pitch and is predominantly in the mid-high frequencies. Recorded on zoom h2n, in small, empty room. Audio clip normalized in post-processing.
