This is the sound my senseo coffee machine made when warming up the water. I think it made the weird gargling noise because it didn't have enough water in the reservoir. 24bit 48khz, stereo, 2 x small membrane -> edirol r4.

When my band was allowed to record after-hours in an industrial space in west oakland, i took the opportunity to show up early to record some of the machines in action. This is a recording of an industrial embroidery machine as it sews on logos to eight sweatshirts. Unfortunately my recording of the glass etching machine in another part of the building didn't turn out as useful--it sounded pretty crazy. Html. Flstudio 3x osc noise was used as a hissing sound similar to venting of high pressure steam. The hiss is granulated to simulate a slight sputtering effect. As the machine tempo increases, lf rumble is introduced to evoke the notion of a rolling load. The rumble dies away as the machine slows down. 100% synthesised sound. No audio sample is present in this recording.
