This is a slightly edited and normalised iphone recording of a lyrebird's performance at healesville sanctuary in victoria, australia and shows the range of sounds they can imitate. A simple ray gun effect i made for use on manyland,i took a high pitched sound reversed and sped it up and it was recorded with an extension on chrome.

A cheesy laser gun sound. Generated using ableton live's operator using a pitch envelope and a variety of filtering and lfos.
