This are noises of a rain gutter during a rainfall. As this was recorded on my balkony there are strong reflections of the adjacent brick walls. Recording gear:- 2 x behringer c2 small diaphragm condenser microphones with cardioid polar pattern- focusrite scarlett 2i4 audio interfacesoftware:- sound forge pro.

An eight minute long soundscape i made for an episode of an audio fiction podcast. Intended to give the impression of a strange and otherworldly empty void, and to mildly imply sci-fi machinery with a spiritualist undertone. However, could easily be used for other projects where you want to create a feeling of discomfort, or of being in a strange and empty place.

Just another simple rain loop, i hope it may suit your needs.

Finally rain after a hot dry july 2018. 10 mins rain with 3 large thunder claps. Not recorded as loud as i should have, it was dark. I used an h4n through an open window.

This is quite a generic exterior atmos. You can occasionally hear crockery and chat (it's a the outside area of a quiet cafe) and a fountain faintly in the background and other than that, general suburban city noise.

Also contains knocking sounds, which is most likely the door being a bit loose. Would be awesome for horror atmospheres. Feel free to use this sound for what ever you wish to. My first upload to freesound is a thunderstorm recorded in gateshead, uk, next to our open bathroom window. Some lovely thunderclaps and rain. Recorded on a zoom h5. There are also some household sounds swimming around in the background, doors closing, dishes clinking etc; i think you can hear the radio or something very faintly towards the end -- but there's plenty of clean usable thunder and rain in there. Incidentally i often use this type of thing in my long-form instrumental music, produced under the name conelrad. I have a podcast of album-length instrumental music which comes out every other week, called conelcast. Check it out wherever you get podcasts or at conelrad. Co. This is a short "steady rain", recorded at the beautiful island fehmarn in germany in summer. Sometimes i find soothing sitting inside and listen to a nice recording of a steady rain :).
