This is an underwater ambient loop i created for a game-jam project. Since the project was nothing but good fun, i have uploaded some of the more useful sounds to freesound. Org for everyone to use. The sound was created by layering hydrophone recordings with filtered noise.

Lost juvenile european herring gull (larus argentatus) calling others (i think) from a chimney after a storm in southern brittany. Some wind still. Recorded by me on a tascam dr-05, 16bits, 44. 1khz.

Waves are hitting the beach after heavy winds. The rocks being hit are smaller then in wave1, some of them can be heard being moved around by the incoming wave.

Recorded one wonderful morning at the shores of lake issyk kul, kyrgyzstan. Three hours from its capital bishkek,the lake with its little bit salty water and the mountainous landscape is a wonderful place to rest and relax. Recorded with sony rh910 hi-md recorder and sony ecm ms907 stereo microphone at 120°. Smaller/shorter mp3 and long (6:45min)/uncompressed wav file available (60mb).

Acoustic wave that sounds balanced and harsh.

It is a sound of 6 seconds containing a single note of music: si (493. 9 hz) with a amplitude of 1. The sound is sawtooth. Work on the envelope ( the curve) reduced to regular intervals on the first 2 seconds then there is 2 seconds without modifications before the last 2 seconds where there is regular intervals again. This sound like morse.

This is a waveform from a boobass(flstudio) with a highpass. I put it in sytrus and made a few things. Hard to explain. :dpitch it at least 1 octave down! 2 octaves down is better for a bass. Have fun with it!.

The snailhorn is a wind instrument. (skrt. Skankha, tib. Dung kar, jap. 陣貝, jinkai, 法螺貝, horagai)it is from the shell of a snail manufactured, the tip is detached. Often the snail shell by engraving or ornamented metal versions. Sometimes it is also a mouthpiece of metal used. With hindsight bubbles - similar to a horn or a trumpet - creates a distinctive, penetrating tone. The snail horn is used in different cultures and different symbolic meanings.
