I took the sound of a cordless drill and warped it into a sci-fi spaceship landing and hovering.

Landing boeing 772 airplane flying by at 300 m altitude, observed about 300 m to the side of the flight path (upward looking angle about 45 deg at closest point). Recorded with zoom h2n voicerecorder, normal stereo mode, no compression. Some birds in the environment (natural birds). If you want it to fly the other direction just reverse the stereo.

A montain bike breaking on concrete. Recorded with a pentax k5 and an audio technica pro 24-cm stereo microphone at 16bit/32khz. Slightly edited in audacity in order to reduce major peaks (by hand, no plugin) and to improve the headroom.

Small rocks tumbling down a steep hill. We got in the van and drove down a rural road. On the side of that road, we found land with its topsoil removed, stripped also of its plants, but there were lots of rocks and a small cliff where rocks could tumble down. The location where this audio was recorded in arkansas is shown in a video of our family adventure. We found where whittington creek enters a man-made underground tunnel in the city of hot springs. Hubcap rolling away from a car crash and rattling and clanging as it comes to rest. Actually, i needed the sound of a hubcap to add to an auto accident crash sfx and recorded this pot lid in my basement using my laptop computer, audacity, and an inexpensive condenser mic. Hubcap1 is the pot lid rattling around and coming to rest on the cement floor in my basement. (the mic was further away from the pot lid for hubcap1. ).

So there's a slightly back story here. So i was visiting a blank lot super frustrated and i picked up a brick from a reserved pile and smashed it onto the ground. Hopefully nobody even noticed.

This sound is a mix of analog sound and digitally created sound. I recorded the sound of a coffee machine. Then on audacity, i generated a tone and modified its envelope. I changed the levels, added effects as reverberation and echo. I put melted at opening and closing in purpose to pretend something was taking off and landing. At first i wanted to create the atmosphere of a spaceship. But after that it looked more like a vacuum noise. I tried to modify amplification and added again echo and reverberation to make it sound more like a weird ufo.
