This is a recording of a dryer running.

A test recording of a top-loading washing machine accelerating to 1000rpm on its final spin cycle. Note that it's not as high-quality as i would've liked, but i'll try again soon. Recorded with an oppo reno 8 lite 5g phone and edited with audacity. You may also hear birds chirping, which i had trouble editing out with this recording. The machine in question is a fisher & paykel quicksmart 5. 5kg (mw513) running on 240v 50hz power. This machine utilises a "direct drive" bldc motor instead of the traditional induction motor and pulley.

The washing machine is on spin mode. I'm afraid there's a bit of wind distortion in the latter part of the sound. This might make a neat sci-fi noise, maybe.

Operating my washing machine (front loader, brand: indesit). This reflect the full circle of a washing process from turning the control knob to the typical “clack” when the machine is finished and the look is once again released. All the intermediate steps like washing, spinning and so on, are shorten in time (otherwise this would be a 50min sound clip). But you can loop all those sounds very well. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Note: feel free to use this sound in one of your own projects. If you want to, you also can send me a link. Does freesound really need another recording of someone washing their dishes? maybe not, but this is a longer take i recorded for a film project - because when you're editing, it's frustrating to find a good recording that's not long enough!. Includes plenty of dish movement, running water, scrubbing, etc. Some limiting was applied to tame the biggest peaks.
