Clean recording of a bunch of seagulls.

First test of my new nt1-a's. Steinberg c1 usb pre amp, recorded on phonecalm ocean, rocky shore. Sounds of, sloshing water, masked plovers, and other birds, a dog, some creaking of anchored boats. I throw some rocks into the water, at the end.

A test tone that can be used for final mix for tv and other similar media. It contains 10 seconds of silence and then 30 seconds of a 1khz test tone (sine wave) with the digital level set at -6dbfs. This is an excursion on the roof of the gare maritime of sete in the south of france. A lot of seagull havin fun.

This is an under water recording of some bubbles. I filled up a laundry bin with water, stuck a sennheisser md21 (dynamic omnimic) wrapped in a plastic bag in there (under the water level). I pumped bubbles from the bottom of the bin through a bicycle pump. Gear used: md21 -> m-audio dmp3 -> terratec ewx2496. Completely unprocessed, 2:43 of 24 bit 44khz wave. Submission for the earthfirewindwater contest.

A 10 min recording made at a beach resort on the fiji coral coast in july 06, recorded on a pd-170 camcorder with 2 sennheiser mkh416 in crossed stereo configuration. Original is 48khz, 16 bit. I have a higher bit rate version if you like this one.
