This was recorded with a trustin portable rechargeable 8gb dictaphone. The recorder was held about 7" away for the louder scrapes and drops and no more than 3" away with the softer scraping sounds. Some normalization was used to drop the peaks. The tiles were in the small hall of an apartment, facing an open door. The hall was approximately 3 feet wide and 8 feet long. This is free to use anywhere you may find useful, and i'd love to hear the results.

The single module has 3 outs. 2 of them are controlling vcaa and one is connected to an envelope follower that generates a trigger when the cv is high enough. 5 min recording. Question. Do you hear any form of repetitiv pattern?the "engine" for this. . . Is a feedback patch. Chaotic? maybe. The colors the soundfile get here on freesound reveals patterns. I use this feedback patch to derive timing and pitch. I restrain the pitch. It's bad enough as it is. The feedback patch is made with 2 lfos, 1 vclfo and a vcad.

I found about rpm challenge the other night. . So i have finished a track. It's a generative sample created by software run under my command, on my friends hardware, than mastered by the guy, came back, sat on my hdd, and because of the challenge i have scrappily finished it.

In the range of three octaves, sung by me in 13 tracks. Not completely in tune. The first one is unedited sound. The second is transposed an octave lower. The third is transposed two octaves lower. In the fourth all the latter are sounded together (39 voices). The transposing makes a peculiar effect to the voice specially in the second (12 semitone) transposition.

Heavily processed sounds form the symbiotic waves module by pittsburgh modular. Filtered through the intellijel atlantis filter. Effects were minifooger chorus and occasionally strymon delay or flint. The name give a hint which oscillator model and processor were used.

For a computer game the robot sound, reminding the well-known r2d2 was necessary. To create such sound it turned out similar means (a compound of synthetic and natural soundings in processing).
