Creepy soundscape.

This is me playing around with my various string instruments. I decided to try to create a creepy string texture-ish sound, but it came out sounding like a haunted string orchestra. I hope you like it. I used a foot-long violin, a full-sized violin, a ukulele, and my father's home-made frettless banjo-thing.

Kind of a continuation on the "world in chains" theme. Here the ghouls are getting ready to seep out through the cracks in the pavement and pay the world up above a ghoulish visit. Oh and don't forget fungus the bogeyman, my favourite raymond briggs character. Try guessing what modules i used. (hint: all but 3 are from makenoise).

Made from opening and closing a sliding glass shower doorsounds a lot like the dr. Who tardis noise.

A sound cue i designed in fl studio using omnisphere 2 and 3rd-party vsts. Best used during a suspenseful/dramatic moment in a movie or video game.

Just your typical scream of pure evil from the depths of hell. Mix it in far into the background of a scary movie to give the audience a subtle feeling of unease, or at full volume for a truly horrific effect.

This is a very old, out of tune accordian (the tuning wavers way off key on the main notes as it plays). It might be useful for messing around with to create undertones for a horror or mystery with a rise-fall pattern. I recorded it on an se x1 large condenser mic. Completely free to use for anything. Made some sounds for a film i worked on. Thought i should share since i use so many of the sounds from this website. =). Made with ableton and omnisphere 2.

This jump scare sound was created by playing 2 dissonant chords on a single coil telecaster mic'd up w/ a vox ac 10 amp. The two guitar tracks are panned left and right- reverb and delay are added. Additionally, frequency enhancers were added between 4khz - 6khz which adds a higher tonal energy in the upper range of the guitar. Gain is added which can be heard as signal noise mostly at the end of the clip. Enjoy. Bainmack.
