Effects used: light distortion > eq > pitch shifter/harmonizer on multi-effect > delay on a second multi-effect > more delay > vibrato > reverb. ) direct to soundcard, edited w/ compression and fading on the beginning/end to hide "loop clicks". Sound is a bit distorted in parts due to peaking from the reverb (i guess). . . Meant to imitate shoegaze-style guitar drones. . . If i had a proper amp it might sound better!.

A seven note scale (c c# d# f f# g# a#) over separate octaves. Some notes repeat in the same octave, but are slightly different samples. Each note starts on the grid of 100bpm. At the close of the children's hospital telethon immediately after it was announced that more than $4 million had been raised, people on the phone banks started cheering, this as the closing credits were being run on the tv screen. This is non-descript cheering, my recording in a public setting having been invited as a journalist to be there to report for broadcast. There are no copyright issues associated with this recording. An almost similar snare sound to that of idioteque in radiohead's 2000 album kid a. Though it is meant for experimental style, i think it would work with any form of electronic music. It was created by resonating noise from audacity, filtering it, fading it out, stretching it and compressing it. It has a characteristic sustain to it. Imagine it as a mix of a gunshot, cymbal, shaker and snare. Feel free to use it in any way you like. If you ever use it publicly or commercially, notify me so that i can hear how you used it.

A visit at boom-store in bochum, germmany. Ther`s a skatedeck at the roof of that skate-shop. Me and my son had a break between shopping and the beginning of a cinema-movie, so we decided to watch skating kids for a while.

Closed hh one-shot. These hi hats were all made with virtual drum synths and processed through some analogue console emulation and added saturation. They were then trimmed to get rid of any dead space before or after the sample and finally normalized to 0db. This file is part of my anu hihats pack.
