Erm, i rolled a hard boiled egg around in a large ceramic fruit bowl. . . For a project. I used a stereo pair of fel 'clippy' mics and recorded onto a sounddevices mixpre-6. This is my recording of a antique/vintage 1920's-1940's telephone picking up and hanging up. Recorded at the military aviation museum in 1341 princess anne rd, virginia beach, va 23457 during the summer of 2021.

Inside an arcade.

Samples of the vintage korg mini pops 45 drum machine. No processing applied here but a very gentle fft based noise reduction. After all, i figured background noise was part of the machine's sonic identity. No patterns here, since that would have taken forever, just the individual sounds. Some of them alone, some of them combined. Recorded mono with a zoom h2n thru the machine's "amp" output.

Remember those view masters? this is what the wonderful plastic vintage vr-glasses sounded like.

A wall-mounted rotary phone in my house being operated. The numbers 1-9 are dialed, followed by 0. Recorded with a roland edirol r-09hr and edited in adobe audition. If you use this sample, please tell me what you did with it below! links are nice too.

Here's a heap of snapshot samples of the synare 3, a vintage analog drum synth circa 1980. They were recorded through an avalon u5 and mackie mixer, and are completely dry. Theres percussion and alot of synth type sounds.
