This is a mouse recording, for like: lego movies, animation, and other stuff.

Decided to test my ability in creating sounds and samples. I recorded my own crap-tastic voice and tuned it via melodyne (highly recommend the program btw). Then threw on some simple reverb and created my own chorus effect as well and placed it on there. Hope you guys enjoy.

A writer types various text sequences and vintage music plays in background. All set to have been done in 1967. A collection of short clips so no copyright infringements on the music titles. Silly speed and pitch manipulation of a standard car horn to create a siren effect. More like a drunken car horn than a siren. Multi-tonal electric siren increasing and decreasing in pitch. Steady, long whine. Sounds like a child's remote controlled radio.

A suspenseful riser made from a wet mix of a rate-shifted bed frame being hitted and reversed after it has been "glued" or rendered as is, producing a deep, "mega-marvin" similar sample. A sample that was created from utilizing chromatic tones, stretching, reverb and the use of the wet/dry filtering to get the mix "just right". If you aren't aware of what the mega-marvin is. Mega-marvins are essentially instruments containing extremely heavy string, woodwind and varying density of materials that generate strong noises, trailing ambiances and brass-like sound qualities quite suited to the horror genre, generating a daunting and sorrowful sounds. Very fascinating stuff, look it up if you can - they're big and quite technical.
