This is the sound of metal dock posts being driven in during maintenance at a marina in vancouver, canada. They pounded some of them a hundred times without out any obvious movement. This is a recording of seven consecutive hits. There is a lot of echo after each strike with the slight sound of rattling chains after each one.

I'm cutting my small front yard with a weed eater.

909 kick with massive distortion and eqíng. Used the eks-9 vst plugin to emulate a 909 kick drum. Placed a huge load of different distortion plugins on different spores, to create a heavy distorted sound. In between those distortion plugins i used several eq's to manipulate the sound. I left the zoom h4n field recorder stationary as i mowed the back yard. Tonality and pitch changes based on terrain, velocity and movement.

Every saturday morning workers roll the large garbage bin down the driveway at our apartment and dump it into the garbage truck.
