The sound of trying to open a box without succeeding. As heard in our episode "the snurfs" bonus 107 (comedypodcast. Net). Recorded using audacity on a mac with a blue yeti microphone.
Door to stairwell opens and closes and someone walks up two sets of stairs, the first one slighty faster than the second. Then another door is opened and the walker enters an office where music is playing very softly and there's a bit of an office din. The office portion can also sound like entering a hotel lobby or outer waiting area of a symphony orchestra concert. The stairwell is concrete and metal. It's very echo-y. Recorded on a samsung galaxy s3.
Me typing random stuff on my computer. Recorded with a tbone sc440 usbeffect: noise-reductionfeel free to use this for whatever you want - you dont need to give me credit but if you want to use the direct link to this sound or "www. Valentinsblog. Com".
This is just me throwing a hand of cards down a few times. I tried to toss them in a way that you could tell the difference between just a regular slap, and the slap of cards.
Recorded sand on a large piece of paper being dragged across a rubberized dance floor (marley). Space had a twenty foot ceiling. Recorded with a tascam im2 stereo condenser microphone and ipod touch. This version has shorter, tugging drags.
I've used freesound shared sounds for my podcasts since 2020. I needed the sound of a dog wagging its tail on a wooden floor for my latest episode and couldn't find an appropriate one. So i created this sound by talking sweetly to my dog while lying on his side on the floor. The original audio file had more of me talking than my dog wagging his tail. But this is a good summary of what it sounds like when he thumps his tail. And i thought i'd give back to freesound by sharing it. Feel free to use it however you want.
