I litterally pulled out my belt and shook the belt buckle infront of the mic. This is exactly what one would think it is. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.
Recording foley is great. I'm still rather new to it but i really like doing it. Here's a holster foley i recorded with h4n pro in my room with a cowboy holster and a 357. Hope you enjoy.
I made a small composition by just layering my voice and trying to stay in tune. Hope this is good enough. Although if it's not, you can edit it and stuff. All of this is just my voice.
A small square tin can, elastic rubber band and a bicycle spoke. Contact mic. Exploring how sound resonates 'trough' the object instead 'reflecting off' the object. -alexander.
Street ambiance in providence, ri. A man singing. The singing becomes 'have yourself a merry little christmas' there is a sax, but he doesn't play along with the song.
The ambiance recorded outside starbucks coffee. The place is next to the street so you can hear cars and motorcycles passing by. Recorded with a cheap omni-directional condenser microphone.
A few strokes from a felt tip pen. I couldn't find any of the right length on here so thought i'd share. Unfortunately these are recorded on a mobile phone, but i've not done any audio processing so you can gain and de-noise to your own needs.
