Me playing around with some zips and clothing to get various sounds. There are two types of zips recorded. One for a piano bag and one for a recorder case. The clothing is two types of hard and softer more malleable jean material. Recorded with zoomh5 at 96hz. Raw file recordings with a bit of noise reduction.

An unintended recording of me and a passerby walking through very thick and wet mud on the walthamstow marshes. I was out testing new gear and couldn't remove the mics from my rucksack strap to avoid picking up the rustle of my clothing or my occasional heavy breathing. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. Late morning in early autumn outside the village of sayda in the east german erzgebirge forest area. Birdsong, some frogs, forest noises and a distant highway can be heard. Recorded with a zoom h2, 90° dispersion.

A dinosaur falls to the ground. Heavy impact. Made with dufflebag, laundry bag, leather couch cushions and a plastic bag. Second impact has a slightly different eq.

In the south of france near "villeneuve les maguelones ". I walked thru wet land to record a group of flamingo. From 0 to 1"30 i walked. At 1"45 the flamingo began their discussion. Recorded with nagraivs and a pair of beyermc930 in ortf configuration.

The underground railway stop aspudden in stockholm/sweden. The recorder is situated near the end of the platform, facing along the line to the entrance. A fair crowd of passengers is waiting on the platform. The pa is announcing the next train, which promptly arrives and opens it's doors. Recorded with a zoom h2n. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording. Mics set to 120° dispersion.
