I'm new to freesound, and am loving all the ambient forest and water sounds. I wanted to get something on my account to share while i'm still in the process of purchasing good equipment to share my own ambient sounds. So i whistled a little tune into my iphone 5s just to get the sharing started. This land is my land, this land is your land with a little harmonizing :).

This is an acapella i wrote and recorded, i have performed live versions of this at three march on monsanto's and i want to see what people would create on here.

This recording was made by me on monday, october 20th, at approximately 7:30pm. It was done in my house in montgomery county, pa, with a rode ixy mic (the 30 pin version), attached to an iphone 4s. The iphone, with the mic, was placed on the sink, approximately 6 to 8 inches away from the toilet. The sound was recorded using rode's iphone recording software, then uploaded via their file transfer site, downloaded, and then imported to adobe audition cs6 being run on a mac book pro, and normalized.

Just a cool little 4 cycle beat. Sounds awesome when looping it.

I recorded it with a samsung ace3 and then put it through the cubase 5 with some high and low cuts in the eq from cubase and with a litle gate.

A door is trying to keep itself closed with a strong wind (very fast thanks to the mountain). You can notice the cracks: it's old, more than 30 years old. I left a wall clock running by mistake, but i think it can't be noticed. If you do and don't want it, i have another recording with it stopped (same name, number 2). Recorded with a zoom h4n. An electric dooropener goes off on a door after a passageway to enter a commercial transportation boat on a pier.
