Just stumbled across the recording of me scraping all of my guitar strings while adding headphones from my amp (with distortion) to my phone when i recorded the sound and i decided to share this with you.

Sound recorded in santiago de chile in november 2019 during the social uprising. Protesters throwing rocks at the police, the police using the water cannon and tear gas. Sound recorded with a sony a7sii using a rhode shotgun mic. 0:36 the water from the water cannon hits the microphone2:17 the "zorrillo" shoots tear gas.

A rare capture of rock hyrax (procavia capensis) calling their females at summertime while in heat. Recorded at 4am in the mid of august 2009. Micrphones used: a couple of large diaphragm akg perception 420 condensers in omni mode.

This is a bass sound, not tuned but it is a perfect loop withouth clicks. It has no panning effect - i will do that on another sample. It is not tuned - use a program that tunes the samples to tonal. You must use it only in one octave from c5 to c6. In other octaves sounds not like a normal bass.

This lovely little toy piano has been a member of my parent’s home since before i can remember. These days it falls under the jurisdiction of my 4-year old niece, who was ever so kind as to allow me to record it!. It has a fabulous tinkling and out-of-tune carnival sort of sound, and i wanted to capture that before the piano was destroyed altogether.
