Two dogs working themselves up for a confrontation. Very long low growls that eventually turn into a bark. Thanks to Lisa Redfern for some great sound effects.
For the full description, visit my legacy drum loop page. Changes: this version features better looping that will loop well in any platform. A little note: while this is long, it is easily trimmable. Enjoy!.
Playing a rock drum beat. Its around 130bpm but i was just freestylin' it without a metronome. Also i mess up a few times, so this is probably more suitable for chopping up than anything else.

Spinning a cordless, brushless drill (check empty, no load speeds) at various bursts of different length. Some in 1st gear and some in 2nd gear; in 2nd gear the electric brake is more pronounced. Mic changes position now and again to vary the sound character.

Recording of a shaker table using three contact microphones, blended in post to give a good mix of the sounds the table was making. Variations in the tone are the result of issues with the shaker table's power supply.
Time to give something back. Drilling right in front of my house. Because internet cable was broken. Used the opportunity to mic it up. Recording made from inside. Drilling is about 5m away with a wall in between. You can hear my son about halfway through way in the background. But thought i wouldn't cut up the sample. Recording using 2 x gefell m930 in ortf stereo. No processing. Use freely. Would appreciate attribution if you use it, but not mandatory.
This is a crow picked up by dreamtalk recorder, a brilliant app for iphone/ipad/android. It was early hours in the morning and it was outside my window. I have had to amplify the file quite a lot to make it easier to hear. I thought it sounded fed up in its tone, i've not heard one exactly like this before.
