A sputtery drum beat. The bass is from freesound, the snare is from a small chop of my fist hitting an oil drum, and the small breath that acts as percussion is from a children's toy. The hi-hats are from vinyl crackles and mistakes in other recordings, made to sound like the crackles themselves are making the music. 88 beats per minute. Caught this ambulance driving a few blocks away from me as i was walking to the subway from washington square park. Recorded using my phone.

This recording was taken at camp eureka, which is at yarra junction in victoria. It wasn't recorded in the bush, but there are plenty of trees at the camp and the bush is nearby. The recording is mostly birdsong. It was taken in the middle of the day during autumn. It was recorded using the built in microphones of a zoom h5 portable recorder.

This is a single cricket next to my building in williamsburg brooklyn, nyc. This was recorded at night with some ambient traffic sound. Loud, clear cricket sound. Recorded with shure mv88 in mid-side, converted to stereo. Cricket is slightly off center to the l side.
