I did a two week artist residency at paradise air (http://paradiseair. Info), in matsudo, chiba, japan. I recorded a lot of sounds in the area, and edited them into a series of thrilling sound effects.

Sounds recorded on a summer night, in 2005, west of redmond oregon (see geotag). Made with a jvc digital camcorder, it got some interesting sounds of frogs, coyotes howling in the distance and the reaction of a very nervous jackass. The audio quality isn't all that great but, it's not like i was able to recreate the same ambience again, on cue. . .

An edit of the wooden sound of minigunfiend, to make it a cool tension thriller suspense sfx, nearly musical. Multiple of plugin were used. Tune to fmin in a way. Original sound:https://freesound. 10 minutes of old school tension or horror sound. An ever changing sound generated by a analog modular synth. It's a generative patch controlling the synth and the sound development. The reverb is a spring-reverb. No editing. Pick the part that fits you best. Or just listen and listen to what the synth is doing. . . I have my fav part!.

This was designed for a short film whereas the subject is checked-out, mentally, and builds up before the 'snap' of a mental break. The room had a grandfather clock and basic evening white noise with the sound of internal blood flow quickly amped.

Made using a logic x. Cant beat a good arpeggiator. I put this together for a cheesy action movie style entrance after the hero is presumed dead but makes a dramatic return with plenty of smoke and back lighting. Enjoy.
