Coming hair: you can hear the typical crunch of tangled hair being combed out. You can hear the hairbrush gliding through the hair. It varies in tempo and rhythm to add realism to this sound. As she struggles with the knots it is slow but picks up tempo as her hair becomes less tangled. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in a recording studio. Great for any make-over montage or scene.

Hungry Bug

This sound field recording was made back in 2000 on a very late/early morning. I placed the sony microphone ontop of the car outside to record the crickets and cicadas. There were a lot of mosquitos out that hot night. One of them landed on the mic and actually bit the microphone. You have to listen close but the bug bites at about 14:28 and removes the mosquito blood sucker at about 34:28. My headphones started to screw themselves over while i was going for a walk with them and it started pouring in the middle of my walk. Which made my headphones pretty much unusable and it seemed to make this strange static noise even when turned off. It was actually kinda creepy but i did realise that this would make for a good sound for a videogame or movie that needs static of some kind. It's just too bad my headphones don't work anymore. Technics Stereo Cassette Desk Rs Technics Stereo Cassette Desk Rs Technical Issue

A technical problem i had with my technics stereo cassette desk rs-5 where playback would deliver this fading squarewave at maximum volume. Apparently, it could have been an issue with the tape header wearing out. Thought i might as well upload it here, as i'm not sure anyone will be able to create this sound again. Note, this sound was de-amplifiied by 10 db in audacity 3. 1. 3. Simply put, the raw file was incredibly loud. If you're curious enough, you can increase it back up to its original volume, though i wouldn't advise it.

Once a year, the farmers go in line through the fields and the forest, screaming and whistling, in order to send the sheep to the corner of the field, and take them to the farm for the sheep's shave. They can't see each other but can recognize themselves with their specific screams and keep in line. Goat Farm In Barlovento, La Palma, Canary Islands

This is a large shed housing a hundred goats owned by a local cheese producer. It's an autochthonous goat breed called 'cabra palmera' (goat from la palma island). Listen to their bells. You can also hear them bleat, even munch some straw if you pay attention. . . Alongside with a chatty rooster. Recorded with a sennheiser cardioid dynamic mic onto a sony pcm-d50.

This one has a very vocal blackbird finishing off the evening (8pm). All recorded whilst staying in a converted barn in rhos, wales. Glitch sfx #1. Modify/use however you want. I made this by playing a couple sine waves on different notes, then i added a fruity waveshaper to add harmonics whenever one of the sine waves clips, then filtered out the original sine waves, leaving you with the distorted harmonics you have here.
