I sat at a lake near my house, recording the chirping of birds, the wind and the water.

This is a processed soundscape originating from two seperate soundscapes; one during a winter night near a hill and one at a basketball practice. The title of the piece originates from the fact that in this piece i try to create this feeling of coming in and out of “reality”, that illusion that sometimes we are watching distantly or from another reality with yet some other moments that we are being really in the moment. The whole feel of the piece sounds to me the most part dystopian, however anyone can have different interpretations of sounds just as we all have different perception and associate various sounds to different things.

Recorded on a zoom h4n with a shotgun microphone protected by a rycote cyclone wind-shield. The wind was blowing strongly through a small copse. This was in november and there were very few leaves left on the trees.

Ambiente de dia en el monte serrano. Se escuchan cotorras. Field recording made at daytime, in the sierra woods. You can hear a lot of diferebt birds, but mostly parrots. Some car in the distance. Recorded with a zoom q3 hd in only audio mode.

Recording of pond sounds in april. There are multiple creatures making sounds here - however, it is not purely nature sounds - there is a highway about a mile away and some of that drone is evident in the background. The foreground however is strong enough that it should be useful for basic nature ambient sound.
