Used the 'abstract hip hop kit' samples that come with reason's soundbank. First part of loop is dry with no effects except eq, second part is more processed. Sample pattern: a1 x2 | a2 x2effects: equalized all the samples. First half is dry in that no extra effects apart from eq are used; second part of the loop is actually two copies of the same loop with one of them containing extreme compression after some unison (detuning) and ~30ms delay. I was walking on grass in my backyard, the grass is short. I shuffled my feet in the grass. The sound makes a crunch like sound.

This is the forth part of four sounds of a cessna 152. Here is the approch and the landing. At about 0’30’’, we car ear the engine slowdown and at 4’03’’ the flaps deployment. The touch down on grass runway is at 9’57’’. Recorded on 2017/10/21 around the namur aero club with an olympus ls 100.

Listening to nightingales & other sleepy birds in the evening. . . You can hear my baby rook taki squak at the very end, cause he was getting restless & wanted to go home to sleep for the night. You can hear nightingales, warblers and thrushes all around. This was recorded using my crappy, old mp3 player in the countryside of henfield, near brighton, england, on the 31st of may 2010. I often play it & other recordings i made around there for my birds in the evening, as a kind of nature lullaby. ^-^.

Lighting a cigarette with a lighter, smoking.

Recorded in the sintra mountains on march 18, 2020.

To create this sound i recorded a disposable lighter in my bedroom. To record, i used my aston spirit microphone on cardioid polar pattern and my focusrite scarlett 18i20 second generation (2nd gen) interface running pro tools from my mac at 48khz, 24 bit. I also used a reflection filter to lower rt60 so this sound has minimal reverb to tape. The cable i used was made of canford hst cable and has neutrik xlr connectors.

Sounds of nature recorded in bolano (la spezia, italy). You will hear beautiful sounds of birds and insect; in the distance you can hear the sounds of the life town. It was recorded with a zoom h1n (96khz /24bit). Recorded in a sunny, calm-windy afternoon in april. The sound was no post-processed.

Springtime in a rural indiana neighborhood. A pair of neumann km183 microphones connected by canare l-4e6s and neutrik connectors to a zoom f8 recorder. Gain set to 60db. 120hz highpass filter applied.

Motor idling. Low, repetitive rumbling of a gator (utility vehicle, like a working-man's golf cart) idling outside, taken from on the tractor itself with a zoom h2 in 120* pattern.
