Opening and closing a new bottle of wine which has a screw-top. All i could find was popping corks so i made this!.

I tilted a wine bottle so that air escaped through the neck in glugs.

My first sound here. Made with inserting a finger into a circular hairbrush and releasing it to achieve that "popping cork" effect. Sounds of a wine glass being hit with a steel spoon and wooden stick, single hits and repetitive fast hits for imitating a bell of sorts. Going into nice overtones in the second part. Caution: may get noisy and ear-piercing ;). I recorded this for my own sound design purposes (game sfx) and thought i would share it with anyone who may find it useful - if you do, please help yourself and enjoy!.

Plucking the rim of an empty wine glass with my finger. Recorded a bunch of samples then isolated the ones i liked into this file. Left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. While all the samples were initially recorded at 16-bit 44100hz, some of the later ones compiled into this wav were accidentally saved at 8-bit and have gathered some noise as a result. All samples recorded using a blue yeti microphone. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. Attribution appreciated but not required.

I recorded this sound back in 2002. This is actually a toy top i had that had gears in it. When spun, it made this sound.
