No eq, no compression. Mono file, 24 bit 48 khz.

I am aware that there are a few "pops" in the sound, but i am not completely sure how to remove them, so i left them there in case someone with more experience in audio editing wants them. I was playing around with a mic i borrowed from my school when this little plane flew over my house. I quickly opened my window and recorded this sound. You can also hear some birds and kids playing (i live near a school). The sound is heavily gained so you should hear some noise.

A sample from a quick flight that i took with a friend on september 8th, 2015. Audio was recorded with a zoom h5. You can hear the engine start, then we idle on the runway for a bit, and you'll hear us make a proper takeoff at about 13:30. After that it generally sounds the same. You'll hear when i crank the level down after takeoff, but you'll be able to easily compensate for it if you're serious about needing sustained flight noise for a small plane. The plane was a 1964 cessna 172e and were flying around vancouver, bc.

I've encountered fantasicly squeaky screws when putting together an mdf cabinet. The screws were driven with a scredriver into pre-puchend holes in an mdf panel. Recorded with zoom h1 at 96khz / 24-bit. Converted to flac using sox. No processing or editing was performed for maximum flexibility nad retaiging highest quality. Also out of laziness. Enjoy!.

Hey guys & dolls !. I've recorded this kind of strange sound with a kitchen saucer on my zink top. It's sounds like something that can be used for example a light aircraft'spropeller blades that is struggling to start or to swing as such,. . Or with a little bit of imagination, it can be used for a couple of other sounds as well. Depends on what it is you looking for or a project that requires this type of sound !. . Simple propeller sound in a cartoon style.

If you stand just underneath a commercial airplane as it's coming in to land (as was the case here at dfw airport) and so long as there's not a lot of noise around you (like loud traffic, etc. ) then when the jet passes overhead, what you can't see is that at the tips of the wings are rapidly spinning vortices of air that coil off the wingtips as the plane passes through air. These long, coiling spirals of air will eventually "close" and as that happens, it creates a momentary but bizarre, surreal sound that you really need to hear for yourself in person to get the full effect. This was the best i could capture on august 15th, 2022. Enjoy!.
