An old school retro sci-fi sound.

Banjo sampled from an older record, morphed into complete new sound, after adding audio effects, changing pitch, warping, changing eq and cut offs. It has 3 plucks around 96 bpm.

A sound which was supposed to be an item respawn to replace the original item respawn sound in half-life 1. Sound made with audacity and goldwave, completely artificially generated.

A weird fizzle.

This is a recording i have done myself and edited. I mad it sound like an alien from another planet. This was recorded with headsets and was rendered and edited in audacity free sound editor.

This synth that i created for this drum step track i worked on, has an awesome bassline to go with it as well.

Made using lmms. Some high pitched bass sound that has been automated for no absolute reason whatsoever. . . Enjoy.

Recorded from tapping an ordinary trashcan and using audacity to add ring modulation, and various other effects. Good for sudden unexpected phenomena.

A weird atmosphere.

A scary, weird sound effect of me saying "huh?" and that word being dragged out. It has a high pitch, and sounds like a good sound for adding some horror or a creepy feeling to the background of a scene. Have fun with it!. P. S. Made some sounds for a film i worked on. Thought i should share since i use so many of the sounds from this website. =).

As part of a class assignment, we were given the hindi pop track "simply falling," and were asked to slow the track down add heavy reverb to it. The result is this eerie, noisy ambience of screeches, groans, and whispers. I've used this track in a few horror projects.

Made this eerie ambient noise on total accident while working on another project. I think it sounds like something off in the distance in a dark forest. . .

Abadoned pyramid - atmo orchestral and drone - sad mood.

I was just going through my sounds, when i decided "hey. . . I'm gonna release this. " so here you all go! i'm really proud of how this turned out. This, as you can tell, is a deep eerie ambience loop. It can be used for anything you want. I like to leave things up to the imagination of the audience. How it was made:. Software used:-fl studio 20-harmor-harmless-fruity parametric eq 2-valhallaroom. So basically what i did was get a low pitch sawtooth waveform, put it through some effects like harmonization, a low pass filter with high resonance, a phaser, and a load of distortion. The main synth is made with harmor. (yes, this is all one synth. It just has a lot of dynamics. ) i then processed it with some eqing. What made this sound what it is would be the reverb. I put 2 layers of valhallaroom on the synth. One has a very short decay time, and gives it texture. The other gives it the atmosphere. To add some more depth, for the final touch, i layered a sub-bass underneath it. Which is just a low sine-wave with reverb on it, which i used harmless to make. I hope you enjoy this!.

Ringmodulated inversion of my speech from the file https://freesound. Org/people/kb7clx/sounds/648443/ invertedspeechcq. Wav. I took the raw recording and used goldwave's mechanize effect to translate my voice to a center frequency of 14khz. I then demodulated it first at 10. 6 and then 10. 2khz meaning that what comes out is essentially the opposite sideband, offset by 3. 4 and 3. 8khz respectively. 3khz just didn't sound as good. The first i filtered with a low pass of 2. 9khz, the second was filtered to below 3. 4khz to emulate a communications receiver passband. I am speaking upside down as described in this video. Being blind i can't see their diagram, but i've got my own by ear intuitive method, keeping in mind that oo and ee are farthest from each other, all other vowells get closer the closer they are to the middle of the human voice frequency range. I say: huhlay sue quee, sue quee, sue quee do ux. Cahlloong sue quee sue quee sue quee do ux. The ay in huhllay is like when a spanish speaker says béisbol (baseball). The a in cahlloong is like the a in cat if you're opening wide for the doctor. The oo is like the oo in book. Listen to the other file and you'll hear: hello cq cq cq dx. Calling cq cq cq dx.

This track is perfect for a film trailer which hits several "reveals" within it. It was originally recorded on a zoom h2 of a glass bottle being hit while suspended in the air. After some modifications, you have this track, ready for your next film trailer. I created this sound using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) using various ladspa effects and layered a few zynaddsubfx synths, with some automation to tame the fall off's by automating the volume faders. Enjoy :).

Think i made this for a survival horror project of some kind that never saw the light of day. Anyway, nice and spooky. Have at it.

Atmospheric / dramatic horror sound.

*warning* --- you may want to turn your volume down*this was accidently created when i was goofing around trying to convert an iso file. It was actually for the movie "a beautiful mind". When the conversion started i wanted to see what it looked like so far and this is what i got out of it. I didn't want to delete it because it sounded so cool. . . . Almost like what a computer world might sound like or "a computer's brain". But anyways i figured maybe someone else might want a sound like this too. I might use it someday myself.
