This kind of noise generates linearly interpolated random values at a certain frequency. In this example the frequency is 100hz. The algorithm for this noise was created two years ago by myself in c++, as an imitation of noise generators in supercollider 2.

Harp player from gambia, africa playing the chora, a typical harp used in gambia or senegal, in western africa, by the so called "griot", a singer, storyteller, singing songs and stories, thus beeing part of the oral tradition of his country and people. The recording was made during the berlin carnival of cultures in the summer of 2011, the harp player and the drummer (djembe) were sitting among the crowd of listeners open air at the bluecher platz. I cobbled some sound effects together to get the sound of footsteps on a rickety metal staircase for the third episode of bloody bold irresolute. It can also work for bridges.

I recorded this with my zoom h2. Held the recorder the wrong way at first so for the first half of the recording you hear more reverb than direct sound, then realised my mistake and turned it the right way. I made some splashes with my hand so that it doesn't sound too monotonous. Some of the sound is water running into the bath, some - into the sink, i'm sure you can hear which is which. Hope you find it useful for whatever purpose you might need it.
