Two contact microphones (stereo recording) were placed on a kite. The sounds you can hear are from the kite gliding through the wind. It was also shaken to simulate the sounds of the flying kite. The file may be used without restrictions, no credit necessary.

The squeaking sound is made from my fingers touching the tip and sides of the metal tip of the non-connected end of the cable. The variation of sound and pitch is from moving my fingers up and down the metal tip in different speeds, angles, and placements.

Since i was walking in the riaza river gorges i saw a lot of ants on the remains of an animal. I put over a pair of contact mics trying not to disturb to the ants. This recording is of me getting ready to do some simple welding. In this you will hear a collection of noises which are me moving pieces of metal around and getting placement correct for each piece. As well you will hear the activation of two exhaust fans and a couple tacks of the welder.
