Synthetic sound "pluck" of 00:10 seconds. I wanted different ambiences and variations in a short time, a sound which says: "something will happen next", like with horror movies. As i was trying to create a “reggae bass” i made this loop. In my ears it sounds like reggae… but i’m no expert. Not at all. What do you say? does it sound like reggae?.

Loop based on a capoeira backbeat. A korg drum patch tweaked in a vs880 digital recorder then exported through cubase. 120bpm.

Racking the slide on a glock semi-automatic pistol. It may have been a model 17 or 19. Can't remember now. May require some trimming and buffing. I think i recorded this with an akg perception 200 using cool edit -- and i did it to get my room-mate to leave (after we recorded the sounds of several of his guns and a sword. . . ).

This is a really simple beat is based off the beat from a remix of "happiness in slavery" by nine inch nails. I used all my own sounds though. The snare was created by filtering white noise, and adding distortion, then adding an acoustic snare sound over it. Really good for heavy industrial songs.

Some creatures chirping at night, with city ambient noise in the background. I don't know if they are birds, or bats, or what. I stayed at my grandmother's place for a few days, where these creatures are heard every night, but no one ever saw them to be able to identify them. Recorded with a zoom h4n portable recorder, on the balcony in my grandmother's apartment.
