My cat was really happy and purring. I had my recorder close by, so i recorded this sound. My cat kept breathing into the mic, so this clip is short. I apologize. Hopefully this is enough for whatever your working on. This sound was recorded with a zoom h4n recorder in stereo, in. Wav format. Please feel free to use "cat purr" as you see fit.

A roar for a kaiju style creature. Lions, tigers, bears and a hint of whale song. Most of the sounds (a couple of bass instruments, several animal roars) come from garageband, along with some recordings of a human made on a zoom h1. Sounds of a 15-year-old dog with laryngal paralysis chewing on a rawhide bone in her crate. (very sad to me as lela is a beloved family member and near the end of her life, but maybe someone can put all this suffering and racket to good use. ) at about the 01:17 mm:ss mark, things get louder because i leaned the recorder up against her crate, near her face. Prior to that the mic was about 5' away, on my kitchen table. I apologize for any unexpected clangs. I didn't edit this file, just uploaded it. Good luck. It is noon, very hot and sunny and millions of crickets are chirping. In the distance, some goat-bells can be heard, otherwise the place is deserted. Recorded with a zoom h2. This file contains the rear channels, recorded with 120° dispersion.
