This was recorded on a poor on laptop microphone, and was supposed to be an applause track, but the microphone quality and the fact that we layered ten clapping noises all over each other combined to make this.

I've been creating background sound effects for a haunted house i work at. I've used sounds from this site to create a lot of them but, since this is 100% original i thought i'd give back. . . Created using an sm58 microphone, protools 9, a bathroom sink, and my voice. . .

I've been recording bath water flowing out in a controlled way. This produced lots of interesing sounds. Captured with a zoom h2.

The microphone was placed inside a stainless steel metal box and placed in my shower. The shower rains onto the box and creates a rich, metallic resonance.

A bus engine idle heard from the exhaust. A little bit of cicadas in the mix too.

This was water running slowly into the sewer from a pipe. It had a great natural echo.

Little piece i made.

This recording was made at a canal when it was reasonably dry. The canal has a road running parallel to it and above it. The side of that road has a largish (30cm?) pipe that drains water into the canal. I made this recording by holding my zoom h5 portable recorder in this pipe, and recording with the inbuilt stereo pair of microphones. You can hear the traffic passing above with the zoom of the occasional fast truck, but it's muted and it's echoing around the pipe. There's a hollow rumble running through the whole track. I made the recording in august (spring) of 2021 in brunswick west, australia.

Primary school orchestra tuning up before their christmas concert. You can hear violins, drums, saxaphone etc and the music teacher (english accent) telling them what to do. The piano comes in about half way through and gently starts to play o come all ye faithful.

A plastic water pipe in the forest with a hole on top, sending a 2 meter high jet of water into the air. The water came pouring back down onto the plastic pipe. Recorded in stereo 24 bit 96 khz with the internal mics on a sony m10 with windjammer. Please use this sound for whatever you want, completely free, no restrictions. This is my first noise i've ever uploaded, so any tips to improve this or any future sounds are welcome. The original sound came from a subway car screeching to a halt and it was edited with audacity and adobe premiere. Enjoy!.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 96khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.
