This is the sound of rain inside a parked subaru outback.

So, i recorded sound of wind blowing using my mic. Yeah its not really wind since it was me who was blowing the air to make this sound but it sounds similar. Feel free to use it :).

Captured during a windstorm. Door opens and swings out and the white noise of the storm is all there is, until the door swings back and thumps closed, then the dead bolt slides lock.

This is a recording of scrap metal collection taken in pilton, edinburgh in august of 2022 at 4:40pm in the afternoon. The first thirty seconds are the sounds of scrap metal being loaded onto the truck (a trampoline if i remember correctly) and some talking. Then you hear the truck start up, and the message through the megaphone "any old scrap metal!" followed by a list of scrap metal items. At this point the truck is slowly driving away. This was recorded with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5.

Thunder storm: this is a very accurate and realistic thunder storm. The great clashes of thunder can be heard accompanied buy the rumbling of the storm. Wind blowing and swooshing paints a beautiful picture. The sharp lightning strikes are very prominent. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. This is a great ambience to create the basis of an amazing soundscape.

This is a recording i took while out in a farmer's field in new england on a rainy evening. The crackling you can hear is the rain drops. In the background there are insects, birds, and frogs audible. This recording is on the quiet side, volume might need to be adjusted.

More rain and distant thunder recorded from an open window. I recorded it with an optimus tape deck and an old microphone (the tape i recorded it on was a maxell ur), i then used audacity and the same tape deck to convert it to digital. A mixture of chasing bees around the garden and leaving the microphone sat recording the atmosphere or a large number of bees collecting pollen from a bush in the scottish countryside.
