Finger squeaking against the rim of a coffee cup.

January 30, 2014. A major ice storm moves in to the east coast of the united states. Sitting in a small cabin in the woods of north carolina, the sound of ice particles (sleet) hitting a stove-pipe can be heard. It's cold. It's bleak. The power has just cut off. Sitting on the floor with a zoom h4n, i recorded the soundscape. Enjoy!. - christopher c. Courter.

Down the slopes with famillies in a french ski ressort. Children are playing and laughing, adultes are talking, sledges are sliding on the snow. Some rare understable french words. This is just a remake of the annoying/endearing catch-all for the flying fairy thing in those zelda games. Thought it be fun if people had something similar to use that was clearly recorded.

A recording of me walking through the snow which was fairly soft fluffy snow. There are also some places in the recording where i step on some brittle ice which crunches cracks louder.

Brushing off a down/nylon jacket, as if dusting snow (or rain or dust) off of someone's shoulders. Could be used for many different swishing noises. Recorded with stereo nt1a mics in a soundbooth. Volume boosted in audacity. No other effects.

Ambience of a night in december. It snowed earlier in the day, with freezing rain after. In this you can hear icy trees crackle as they sway in the wind. A block away, motorists are passing by. Some people yell out. A one-note wind chime is dinging, sometimes another wind chime sounds. Some ice falls, and various other little things happen. . . Computer fan may be audible in background. Contains seek noises. Recorded on blue yeti in omnidirectional mode and denoised in rx 8 (drive whine re-enhanced though as noise removal made it quieter).
