I've never heard so many frogs/peepers so deafeningly loud, persistent and oblivious to humans. I tried to record where the water was running but the animals drowned out the sound of the water. A long walk at night through the redlight city district in amsterdam, build in the 13th century. International mostly young, male audience. English, chinese, danish, spanish, dutch & other voices. Various swells from intimate to more crowded settings. Happy, aroused, drunk, stoned. Narrow alleys and wider streets. Might hear some words not suitable for children.

In my animation project , i needed a sound of yawn, when a young male gets out of the tent in the morning. In short time i just found some samples are little "noisy" to the scene, then i decided to make a "silent" one by myself. The equipment used: the mic on logitech h600 headset, hp pavilion laptopsoftware: adobe premiere pro running on windows 8. 1location: my study + bedroom.

This is a spanish choir, one of the chirigotas who play in the carnaval in cádiz each year. This choir were renting the apartment next to mine in andalucia for a weekend. They invited me in for a beer and before i knew it they were out on the terrace singing their lungs out. Such wonderful people.
