Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

The sound of a weighted object hanging from a thick braided rope. Birds can be heard in background. Recorded on the zoom h4n with a sennheiser me66 shotgun mic. Unprocessed. Recorded on november 8th, 2014 in orlando, fl.

I composed a fairly long midi loop of chord progressions & let each section repeat twice. Then i layered a bunch of return tracks of the same line with arpegiated outputs played with straight, quarter note swing eight note swing, 16th note swing, & 32nd note swing all played together. The output was then compressed, heavily chorused through multiple fx devices, and stereo panned into the nonsense you hear. If you use this please comment a link, i don't need/want credit i'd just be super curious to see what you did with it!.

Original sound captured using a zoom h5 recorder and a rode nt5 microphone. Cut and reversed in ocenaudio. Timestretching and filtering (pro-filter, talk wah) applied using reaper. There is a lot of background noise, including the sounds of crickets and birds, and the sound of stepping in grass. Recorded on a dr07 mkii in southwest florida.
