I created this instrumental while i was messing around on audacity one day and i actually used it to record a song called "erbie bowser" feel free to look it up on youtube. The instrumental includes whistles, claps and a voice loop all performed by myself. The only un-authentic part added was a risset drum. Blackbird chirping that made its nest in a laurel tree. Recording with xiaomi mi 5 and the sony "audio recorder" app in city environment you can hear city noises and voices in the background.

This is a seamless loop of a semi-rare instrument called the ukelin, out of tune and played incorrectly on purpose. It was given to me as a gift today and i had to sample this thing. This is before i tuned it, bowed across the strings you're expected to pluck and strumprocessed with dmg channel comp, voxengo elephant, internal daw eq, and valhalla room. Multiple loop sections overlayed/crossfaded relooped, then overlayed, crossfaded and relooped again.

I did not use paul's extreme sound stretch, but rather took an original recording of a glockenspiel (with a lot of reverb), and set the playback rate to around 20% its original value. I created these chimes on online sequencer and then i used audacity to add some effects to it.

This one has a very vocal blackbird finishing off the evening (8pm). All recorded whilst staying in a converted barn in rhos, wales. Recorded on my zoom h4n, there maybe some wind noise in places and maybe a very high flying jet, but mostly it is just the sound of nature. There is a nearby stream in the background too. These are the original uncompressed untreated files. Hope it is useful to someone.

20 minutes field recording of eveningsounds in my backyard in belgium, springtime in 2021. At first a few chickens wander close to the microphone, your hear doves and a lot of blackbirds singing to each other. After a few minutes the chickens prepare for the night. At about 14:00 a goose flight is passing by, in the end you hear a distant plane passing and a train. Recording in stereo with a zoom h4n pro and windshield, mildly processed afterwards.
