A 130bpm beat sample featuring some ride cymbal work and some synth, created in fl studio using the sakura and poizone plugins.

I recorded myself beat boxing and added like 90+ effects so now it sounds like a drum in like a basement. It was also used to make "alien song" a sound from the pack.

A hit on a bass drum with reverb.

Several breakbeats i made using sliced samples of cyberia's breaks. Mostly cut&paste in audacity, so i'm not sure of the bpm, but i normally ignore that anyways. . . Processed with overdrive, chebyshev, and various other distortionate effects, and compressed. A smooth organic drumloop at 85pbm.

This is a bit of a beat that i made in musicstudio on my ipod. The song is short but it can be looped to reach your desired length. If you are planning on using this, please leave a comment! i'd like to see how you do with it :).

High tom sound. The reverb is actually filtered noise. 44100 16 bit mono made with microtonic drumsynth.

Another gleechlab (http://www. Gleetchplug. Com) assisted creation. Drum loop, run through the lab's ring mod, with added bonus of subtle little glitched guitar bits.

5/8 slow daf rythm with rode nt4 mic, presonus preamp.

A pitch mangled chunk of drums. No loops, but good for single hits. Recorded from a circuit bent casio pt-1 (called et-1).

This is the sound the drum makes when one rapidly taps on it with the fingers. --general sample pack desc--samples of my djembe drum, recorded with my mp3 player's mic. Obviously low-fi but it sounds really nice. And some post-processing never hurts anyway.

Drumbeat made for the stones throw beat battle #391. This one has the snares very early. Made out of home cooked synthesized drum samples, mixed and added effects through reaktor.

Kick.

Recorded and heavy manipulated drum rythm. Made with the ipad app "rectable" and than sampled and processed with the app "samplr" using "audiobus". Date: august 4th, 2014.

Basically layered a 200hz snare body, similar to a 909, low-passed and saturated. Added in a transient sound, then a certain impact sound that you wouldn't expect, layered together with some high end white noise, compressed, then used a transient shaper for that final touch.

Drum 'n bass and metal hybrid drum loop. 180bpm.

Medium hit on small toy drum, recorded on tascam dr-5 didgtal recorder.

This is a short drum n bass beat. Processed with a little delay to get that roomy feeling. . . The bpm is 95, but the loop is larger than the typical bars because i added the delay sustain within the loop. . . It´s created with the independence sampler. . .

A drum loop morphed with ni massive.

Layered a nice snare, some noise, clap, and even a really pitched up kick( like 24 semitones up) to get this sound. Added in some tape saturation and compression(rough rider) and voila, i made a dirty snare. :).

Samsara ekd was used for the kick, sent through eq and a couple of distortion plugins. Black noh snare was used for the snare, with a resonator and reverb placed on top of it, as well as eq and compression. Hcx was used for the hihats, with one eq plugin placed on it. The master channel got brickwalled (or bricked) using compressivecm vst.

Representational approaches to field recording are bullshit. On another day i will explain why i feel this to be the case. But it centers around a critique of the distinction between representation/reality, along with a critique of the concept of mediation. Mechanical openings, heartfelt wanderings was recorded with a tascam dr100mkii and a rode shotgun mic. One sound taken from the 'microblocks, vol. 1' percussive found sound sample-pack. A bit of noise which resembles a snare drum if you squint.

A lot of eq-ing, layering, and saturation was done on this snare, thought it sounded nicer than snare 1, but snare 1 is more malleable than this snare when it comes to mixing it, since snare 1 is way less filtered.
