This is the sound of a flock of sandhill cranes in a field in albuquerque, new mexico. Other sounds include: dried corn stalks in the breeze and the sound of my footsteps as i walk through the field.

A wonderful recording symbolic of something many of us do every day -- making coffee. Recorded using my trusty zoom h-4n recorder using its built-in stereo microphones. Recorded at 4:45 in the morning so other usual daytime house/city noises are not here.
Tapping large water bottles (metal) against a leg to hear them make melodic sounds. You can hear the slosh of the water inside and the resonant tone. Noise reduction and amplification were applied to this sound using reaper.
It's painful but it had to be done. . . Here's the field record of a demolition plant in the paris suburb of pantin. An old factory is beeing reduced to dust, prior to some housing developements. On this recording, you can hear one excavator actually tearing down the building while another one is sorting junk in the backyard. Recorded with a zomm h2n in x/y stereo mode.
